Our Church Services

a little information about the services we hold regularly at All Saints

In our Sunday worship, we try to meet the needs of those who value traditional Anglican worship; as well as providing the

opportunity for more informal services.

8.00 am  -  Holy Communion

we hold a said Holy Communion service following the Book of Common Prayer format

10.00 am  -  Worship for All
a Family Service of stories, songs and prayers

This is a simple service geared mainly to the children and young people. Those who have recently been baptised and their families are welcomed at this service and presented with baptism candles

11.15 am  -  said Parish Eucharist

(Common Worship)

8.00 am  - Holy Communion

10.00 am  - A Sung Parish Eucharist and Junior Church

We use the common worship form of service - music mainly traditional but on the third Sunday more contemporary hymns projected onto a screen.

'The Peace' takes place at the beginning of the service after which the children present are invited to retire to the D'Arcy Room for Junior Church where activities are organised for them. They return for the end of the service.

4.00 pm  - Sung Evensong and Sermon

Prayer and Praise

4th or last Sunday in the month 6.30pm

We hold Evensong at 6.30pm in the summer months and 4pm in the winter.

These timings are governed by the commencement or cessation of British Summer Time.

Morning Prayer at 8.30am and Evening Prayer at 5.30pm

these are both brief and simple said services geared to help start and finish your day - they take place from Monday to Saturday but not necessarily on all days. Details are given in our 'Weekly Link' - a news sheet which can usually be found at the back of the church or on this website

11.00 am  - Holy Communion

A service of Holy Communion is held on Thursdays at 11am. This arrangement sometimes changes during the time of special festivals. Again, information can be found in the 'Weekly Link' or on this website.

Holy Communion will be taken to the sick and housebound on request

Any deviations from these times will be advised in the 'Parish News' monthly magazine, Church Facebook page, 'Weekly Link' or this website

We would encourage you to regularly visit this website or take a copy of the 'Weekly Link' whenever you visit our church. This weekly news sheet will keep you up to date with all the latest information on our activities and services.
