There is no charge for admission. Please think of the cast and everybody involved, in your prayers this week – and pray that the message of the play will really help folk, Christian or non-Christian, to  engage with the story.

Because Easter falls on the First Sunday of the month, there will be a change from our usual pattern. The 10.00am service on Easter Day, April 1st, will NOT be worship for all, but Easter Eucharist (There will be NO 11.15am service) There WILL be Evensong on Easter Day at 6.30pm. The usual pattern for the first Sunday will be a week later (April 8th) with Worship for All at 10.00am, said Eucharist at 11.15am and 6.00pm Evensong at St Mary's.

Please consult the Diary for full details.

We have been invited back to the Lodge for a service during Holy Week. This will take place on Tuesday 27th March at 10.30am. It will be a service of hymns and readings. Stephen would be very grateful for some help with the singing.

We are invited to join the congregation of St Mary’s for Holy Communion at 6.00pm on Monday of this week. On this day we pray for all fathers.

Ken would be grateful to receive candlesticks and matching candles to set up the Altar of Repose for  Maundy Thursday

Please note that the mid-week communion in Holy Week will be on Wednesday 28th at 11.00am (not on the morning of Maundy Thursday) to enable the clergy to attend the Chrism Eucharist in the Cathedral that day.

Stephen and Sue invite you to join them for wine/ soft drinks following the Vigil Service at 8.00pm. At this service the new book case for the parish library will be dedicated in memory of David and Win Hill

My cousin Richard and his friend Mark’s concert last year proved very enjoyable and inspirational. All money raised goes to All Saints as Richard and Mark refuse expenses. Please put Friday April 13th at 7.30 in your diary and come if you can. Tickets from Paul and Jackie (858978) £10 to include refreshments and wine.

Any help on the day would be much appreciated as will donations towards the refreshments and raffle prizes. Paul

Please bring your bells to ring at the Easter Eve service on Saturday March 31st. We want to make lots of noise! Also you are asked to wear your Easter bonnets for church on Easter Day (Sunday April 1st) which will be followed by the egg rolling in the High Street.
