THE WASHINGTON WINDOW

Last Thursday was the 90th anniversary of the unveiling of the Washington Window.(5th July 1928). Refurbishment took place in 2005 and rededicated in July that year. There are few remaining copies of the souvenir programme of the original unveiling. Thanks to the dedication of the late John Clifford a reproduction of this document was produced in 2009. An interesting read, showing some of the history of our beautiful church. I have the master for this if anyone would like a copy please let me know and I will print off for a small donation towards church printing costs. Barbara
