The Departed

Today it’s Mothering Sunday and perhaps a day to think of trying something new! Here at All Saints we’re doing a special Mystery Play at 8.00pm on Wednesday 21st and Friday 23rd March. Admission is free. It approaches the story of Jesus in a modern setting, in a way which isn’t just for Christians. It looks at themes like nuclear war, money, crowd manipulation and the environment. It’s a very unusual approach. But as well as the serious questions there’s humour as well. A lot of our regular church family are taking part. Why not join us in this community event?  And bring your friends. (The play runs for a maximum of 90 minutes without interval). Canon Graham

Because Easter falls on the First Sunday of the month, there will be a change from our usual pattern. The usual pattern for the first Sunday will be a week later (April 8th) with Worship for All at 10.00am, said Eucharist at 11.15am and 6.00pm Evensong at St Mary's.
