Every year on the second Monday of January a white plough is paraded through Maldon's High Street followed by Morris Dancers with blacked out faces - it is called "Plough Monday".

On the Sunday before, a service is held at various churches in the town to ask God's blessing on the plough as a symbol of His provision for all of us and a reminder that we are only the custodians of this planet we live on.    This year it was the turn of All Saints.

The Service and Annual General Meeting of the Essex Assoc. of Change Ringers   January 4th at 4.30pm (2020)  Over 67 members of the Essex Association of change ringers met at All Saints for their Annual General Meeting.

A Service conducted by Canon Stephen Carter was followed by a superb lunch prepared by All Saints' hospitality group, for over 70 - which was then followed by the A.G.M. proper, held in the church.

These meetings are held at local Essex churches every year,  last year it was at All Saints, Terling.

Stephen's service on Sunday (02.02.2020) was his last one at All Saints    -    we wish him and Sue a long and happy retirement.
