REVD. PAUL BARNES
|
Graham was ordained in Chester Cathedral and after serving his two curacies in that diocese moved south to Essex. His ministry in the Diocese of Chelmsford has been spent in Southend-on-Sea and principally as Rector of St John the Baptist, Danbury. He joined the ministry team here at All Saints in 2014 two years after retirement. He started life as a Scots Presbyterian, so has a flexible spirituality having also trained ecumenically at Queen’s College, Birmingham. He enjoys many aspects of life and is known for thinking ‘outside the box’.

Paul was, immediately prior to his retirement in 2003, in charge of The Borderlink Parishes in Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire - 8 churches in all, covering an area of 112 square miles.
On his retirement, Paul and Jackie came to Maldon where both are very much involved in the activities of the church and work extremely hard on our behalf

Alan moved with his wife, Jackie, from London to Maldon in 1971. Now retired, his career was in purchasing in the National Health Service. After this he spent eleven years in school administration. He has been a member of the Church Choir, Churchwarden and PCC Member. He was the first Eucharistic Minister to be authorised at All Saints. For a number of years, he has assisted in leading Evensong at All Saints, and, more recently, has regularly led Services at Woodham Walter and Woodham Mortimer.
